My Room Decor

Hello, friends! I love interior decorating and designing my room. It's so fun! I feel like your room is a reflection of yourself and your style, so you should design it to fit who you are. My room is my little cozy spot in the world and I am going to be sharing it with you today in hopes to give you some inspiration on room decor and such! Alas! Here's my room!

This is my bed! I have a white bedspread, because I love how clean and crisp it looks. I feel like it really brightens up the space and lets the light coming in through the window reflect towards the rest of the room.

Over my headboard, I have some string lights that are gorgeous and transform the space. I love string lights! I definitely recommend trying them in your room, because they're just gorgeous.

My pillow is from Ikea and I like that it adds a pop of color and it's quirky.

In addition to my pillow, at the base of my bed is a large blue throw blanket that adds color and a cozy element to my bed.

I wanted to show you these books that are on my bookshelf, because I think they're great. I have a lot of books, but I only keep a few on display. When decorating your room, try to add some pretty, colorful books stacked on a bookshelf or by your nightstand. They're convenient and add a lot of color!

This is my dresser! I'm not going to show you every single thing on it, but I just keep a few essentials on top. However, there is a tray in the middle, which I have a blog post on styling!

I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have any decor ideas, feel free to share them in the comments below!

Room Decor Ideas

Hello, friends! I love decorating my room and I have definitely changed and added decor over the years. I wanted to share a decor idea that I love and some tips on how to design it.

On top of my dresser, I have placed this colorful tray filled with some objects that I use everyday and love to have displayed. Rather than placing a bunch of objects on top of a surface, separating them with a tray like this instantly organizes the space and adds a pop of color. I got this tray from Target.

I placed some of my essentials on this tray, including these gorgeous perfumes that serve both for fragrance and decoration.

I also have a little tray in the middle filled with bobby pins and earrings (functional and pretty). You can't see it, but I also have a pretty, gold necklace laying in the tray.

There are some beauty products like a hand cream, eye drops, and a couple lipsticks in the tray, as well.

To add a pop of color, I have a fake daisy in a white vase in the back.

When creating a tray like this, try to incorporate functional, yet attractive pieces and organize them the way you want. I recommend adding bits of color and greenery (fake flowers, pictures of flowers) to liven it up and make it look fresher.

You can add all sorts of things to these trays and place them all over your space! Just make sure that you're not over-cluterring them. I recommend including picture frames, beauty products, trinkets, sunglasses, etc. to these.

I hope you enjoyed this room decor post and let me know if you would like to see more of these!

Must Have Drugstore Beauty Products

Hello, my friendliest of friendly friends! How are you today? I hope the weather here is just as gorgeous as where you are! I want to share my favorite beauty products from the drugstore that do work and are of high end quality. Lets' get started!

Real Techniques Beauty Sponge:
This sponge is great for blending out foundation or concealer! It's very soft and plushy and blends out face products like a dream. I would say that it's highly comparable to the Beauty Blender. You can read a full review of this product right here.

Revealed Palette by Coastal Scents:
This palette is so versatile and great for everyday wear. It has 20 neutral shades (shimmery and matte) that are really pigmented and silky smooth. The looks you can create are endless! I have a review of this product as well! Here's the link

Real Techniques Brushes:
I love Real Techniques brushes! However, this buffing brush is my favorite. It blends product into the skin flawlessly and is super soft. These brushes are extremely comparable to high end brushes and I highly recommend them! If you would like to read yet another review, I have a review of this brush here.

Loreal Laquer Liner:
I really like this gel liner and it's a gem of the drugstore! The liner is extremely long lasting and waterproof, which is fantastic. It also comes with a really nice liner brush that I highly recommend that you keep.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation:
This foundation is really nice! It gives medium-full coverage, blends really well, and lasts all day. It's great for those days when you know you'll need coverage for long periods of time.

Loreal Butterfly Mascara:
I love this mascara! It's literally the best one I've ever used. It flares out my lashes at the end for that flirty look and gives amazing length and volume. Just try it!

NYX HD Primer:
This is my favorite primer and I have been using it for an entire year! My lids are really oily and this helps keep eyeshadow on for the entire day. Literally. The entire day. It's only $5.99 and is comparable to the Urban Decay Primer Potion.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Have a great day!

2K15 Taco Bell Challenge

Hello, friends! My friend, Sara, and I have commenced to create the 2K15 Taco Bell challenge. We are huge fans of Taco Bell and talked about the dilemma we faced whenever we order there. We never know what we want! There's so many choices! Therefore, we have decided to eat every thing on the main menu by the end of 2015 and have called it the 2K15 Taco Bell Challenge.

We are eating through the menu together, so if she tries something, I don't have to try it and vice versa.

For health reasons, I will not be binging this food, just trying new Taco Bell foods every now and then. I think it's okay to eat unhealthy foods in moderation, so I will be balancing this by eating healthy foods and exercising.

As seen in the picture, I ate the Crunch Wrap Supreme, which was amazing and is my favorite thing on the menu. Sara had a Doritos Locos Taco, which she really enjoyed and a Cheesy Potato Burrito. We were both completely happy with the food we consumed!

I just wanted to let you guys know that this is happening!

My Makeup Of The Day!

Hello, my friendly friends! I hope you're having a great day so far! Here is a fun beauty post to kickstart your day with! This is my makeup of the day!

What I'm wearing:

Loreal Tru Match Foundation:

I applied this foundation with my beauty sponge for a light, natural look. I haven't worn this foundation in a while, but I think it's going to make a comeback!

Revealed Palette (Medium Brown Shade/Color #7):

I just applied a medium brown shade all over my lid. I'm going for a natural look with a soft eye.

Loreal Laquer Liner in Espresso:

I applied this dark brown liner ever so carefully on my top lash line and smudged it a bit with an angled brush for a softer look.

Maybelline 'The Rocket' Mascara:

To top off the eyes , I applied my Maybelline 'The Rocket' Mascara for volume and length.

Covergirl Blush in 'Classic Pink':

I applied this matte pink blush on my cheeks for a bit of fresh color.

Alright, friends! This was my look of the day! I hope you enjoyed it and let me know if you're liking these posts. There are a ton of other posts coming at you this week, so be prepared! Have a lovely day.

My Favorite Smoothie Recipe

Hello, friends! I have a delicious smoothie recipe to share with you guys! I have been trying to eat a lot healthier and so I've been eating a lot more fruits and vegetables. To start my morning off right, I like to start with a protein and vitamin filled smoothie. This is great, because it has a ton of nutrients, energizes me throughout the day, and tastes delicious!

The Steps In Creating the Smoothie (In Pictures):

The Recipe:

You Need:

1 Frozen banana

A handful of berries (It doesn't matter what berries you have!)

1 TSP Oats (For grit)

1 TSP Peanut Butter (For protein)

3/4-1 C Milk (Eyeball this)

**I also like adding spinach or kale (a handful) but I ran out!**

Blend all of these ingredients in your blender until reaching the consistency you would like.

I Keep Changing Love Ling!

Hello, friends! I'm sure you've noticed that the format of Love Ling changes a lot. I just wanted to let you know that my indecisive self has changed it yet again! I'm trying to make it more aesthetically pleasing to you guys, as well as easier to navigate around. I'm also writing in a different font than I usually do. I hope you don't mind! I like to change this blog around to fit how I'm feeling at the time and what I feel you guys would like to see. I really hope you guys like it!

Photography

Hello, friends! I just wanted to share some of these pictures that I took with my phone outside my house. There's a pond right outside my backyard, so I took a gander down to it in the mid-afternoon and was completely amazed at what I saw.
It's really amazing what you can find when you take time to stop what you're doing and look around. Connect with the world around you. It's beautiful.

10 Reasons Why I Love Theatre

Hello, friends! As you guys know, theatre is a passion of mine. I have loved it ever since I was a little girl and performed for the first time as Gretyl in The Sound of Music. Today I'm going to be listing 10 reasons why I love theatre. Let's do this thing!

  1. Theatre let's you become someone else: For that hour and a half (or so) onstage, you get to live the life of a character that is not you. How awesome is that?
  2. It gives a glimpse into what it means to be human: Theatre portrays life and what is shown on the stage reminds people of what being human is.
  3. Theatre is based on pure, raw talent: What you put on stage is what you get. There is no editing, no redoes, not touchups.
  4. You gain confidence: Theatre gives you confidence! By acting and performing onstage, I am able to live confidently in real life.
  5. Bond with cast: There's nothing like cast bonding. When you're in a show, the cast and crew becomes your family and you're all working together towards a common goal.
  6. There's nothing like being under stage lights: For me, being onstage with the stage lights on is magical. You can't see the audience, it's just you and your cast onstage and it's amazing.
  7. You can create a different world with your cast: Theatre allows you to live in a different world than you live in real life. Onstage, you create situations and scenes of another world.
  8. The applause: Getting an applause for your show and all that you put into it is the most satisfying, rewarding experience.
  9. You can connect with the audience: Whenever I do a show, my goal is to allow my character to connect with the audience. Theatre allows you to form a relationship with people in a completely new way.
  10. Allows freedom of expression: I love theatre, because I am able to express myself and there is not limit to how I can do that.

My Makeup Of The Day

Hello, friends! Here is the makeup that I wore today for a lunch and movie date with a friend! I wanted to keep it fresh and pretty today, so these are the products that I used:

Revlon BB Cream: First and foremost, I started out with the Revlon BB Cream for some light coverage. If you would like to see my review of this product, you can find it here.

Maybelline FitMe Concealer: I used this concealer to conceal any imperfections on my face.

Revlon Translucent Powder: I used this powder to set my face products and help them last all day long.

Milani Browfix Browkit: I used the darker shade to fill in my brows for definition. I absolutely love this palette and have been using it for three years!

Revealed 2 Palette: I used my Revealed 2 Palette by Coastal Scents for my eyeshadow. I used a shimmery gold shade all over the lid.

Loreal Laquer Gel Liner: I used my gel liner to line my upper lash line. I don't usually do winged liner, so I just lined my lids, keeping the line as thin as possible.

Maybelline Master Drama Liner in Black: I lined my water line with black liner for added definition to my eyes.

Maybelline 'The Rocket' Mascara: I used my 'The Rocket' mascara today, which gave me a ton of length and volume.

Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart: For a pop of color, I applied a hot pink lip butter on my lips.

Thank you for reading and let me know if you would like to see more of these posts! Tell me in the comments below if you use any of these products and what some of your favorites are!

My 5 Best Studying Tips

Hello, friends! I know a lot of people are taking midterms and exams around this time. If you are one of those unfortunate people, I am so sorry. Exams suck, and studying sucks even worse. However, I have five tips that have helped me in the past when I am studying for a big test. Hopefully they work for you!

  1. Study At Least 3 Days in Advance: It's a lot easier to take a big test when you start preparing for it ahead of time.Give yourself a couple of days before the test to study and review information. It may help to write out a schedule of exactly what you're going to study and when.
  2. Look Through Notes and Jot Down Main Concepts: There are a ton of questions on how to study. For me, it works best to look over all of my notes and write down the main ideas, as well as details that go with them. This may include facts, examples, or equations. If there's a concept that you're not as familiar with, write it down!
  3. Use Colored Pens & Highlighters When Studying: I find it easier to learn and study when I am using colored pens. It's a lot more fun, for one, and I feel like it helps me remember facts better. Try to alternate between 2-3 colors and highlight main ideas and headers.
  4. Quizlet: I really like using Quizlet when I need to review vocabulary words. Quizlet is an online flashcard website that I've been using for years. All you have to do is type out the words or facts you need to memorize and the site allows you to practice with those terms through fun games! It works like a charm! Here's a link to sign up.
  5. Take Breaks: It's hard to sit down and study for hours straight. Take breaks every 30 minutes to an hour of studying. Get a snack, do a workout, or hang out to let your mind rest a bit.
I hope this post gave you some tips on ways to study! Everyone is different, so what works for me may not work for you, so don't rely too heavily on what I am telling you, but give some of these tips a try!

5 Steps To Becoming A Better Friend

Hello, friends! I want to share some tips on how to be a better friend with you guys! You may think you already have a good friendship already, but sometimes it's nice to take a step back and re-evaluate yourself.

  1. Listen: To be a good friend, it's important to hone the skills of listening. I know, for me I like to entertain. Or maybe I just like being the center of attention. That's probably it. A lot of times, I find myself talking over my friends because what I have to say is always more important than what they have to say. I need to stop doing that! I think that good friends listen to their friends and really process what they have to say. It's a great gift to give someone, because everyone wants to be heard. Shut up and listen!
  2. Support: Good friends support each other! It's important to be there for your friend when they are going through something or having a bad day. It's also nice to support what they do, so going to a concert or competition of theirs is always extra supportive.
  3. Quality time: It's important to spend quality time with your friends. This may be a coffee date or just hanging out, but giving your time to a friend is a nice thing to do.
  4. Don't judge: Good friends don't judge! If your friend says something that you don't agree with, it is not your position to judge them if they are your friend. Your job is to raise them up, not bring them down.
  5. Be honest: Be open and honest with your friend. You don't have to tell them all of your secrets, but if you have an opinion of something, share it truthfully.
I hope you enjoyed this post on friendship! I have a set of really amazing friends, and I love them so much. This post is not intended to point fingers or passively tell my friends something. I'm just sharing this with you so we can all become better friends, myself included! Anyways! Thank you for reading, and I will talk to you later.

My Top Ten Audition Tips

Hello, friends! I am coming to you with a post that isn't related to beauty or fashion. It's related to my passion of the theatre! You guys may or may not know that I've been acting for a long time, and I do shows pretty frequently. I am by no means a professional actress or an expert in the theatre, but I just wanted to give you some tips on what to do in a theatre audition! These tips are more relevant to stage performing, but can be applicable to film and television, as well.

  1. Prepare your material: Know exactly what you'll have to do at the audition. When I audition, I'm usually required to have a one-minute monologue, a song, and learn a dance. Start preparation for auditions at least a month before they happen. This involves finding a monologue and a song.
  2. Research the show: Make sure that you do your research on the show you're auditioning for! This is key! How can you go into a show without knowing anything about it? Read the synopsis, the character breakdown, everything. This will make it much easier for you when you audition.
  3. Find the perfect monologue: When you find your perfect monologue, you'll know. It should be something you feel comfortable performing, with a character close to the character you're auditioning for. Find a monologue that you love and rehearse it in front of you're mirror until you know it by heart.
  4. Be humble: When at the audition, be humble. Don't let your ego get in the way of your performance. It's better not to tell people what role you're auditioning for unless they ask you. It's fine to talk to people, but don't let that distract you from what you came to the audition to do. Just stay humble and modest.
  5. Wear appropriate clothing: When performing in front of whoever is going to be judging your performance, wear something that you feel comfortable in. Though, it would be wise to make sure it's professional. Also, make sure to keep your hair out of your face. If you need to dance, it's fine to bring clothes that you can move in to change into.
  6. Be confident: When walking into the audition, it can be scary. However, you need to walk into that audition room with confidence. Walk with your shoulders back, smile, and be polite.
  7. Stay in character: When performing, even if you mess up, stay in character! It's okay if you mess up, just don't let the director know that you did. Keep going!
  8. You are always being watched: The director is always watching you, so be sure to behave with professionalism and be kind to everyone. The director won't want to work with you if you are rude and obnoxious.
  9. No Phone: Put your phone away! Far, far away! Having your phone out or on is very unprofessional and is not looked at fondly in the audition world.
  10. Breathe: As scary as auditions are, put that behind you and just share your gifts. Remember that you're there to show them what you've got. Just breathe, smile, and get through it.
** PS: This is my 200th post!**

Acts Of Kindness

Hello, friends! How are you guys today? I hope you have had an amazing week and the transition from the holidays to real life has been smooth for you!
Today I want to talk to you about kindness. You all know that I am a huge advocate of inner beauty, and I think that inner beauty can be found by simply being a good person. Of course, it's difficult to be nice and smiley all the time, but I think being a decent human being is something that is really respectable.
A couple of months ago, I went to Ikea with my family. Obviously we had to eat in the cafeteria before shopping, because you just can't pass up the opportunity for Ikea meatballs! After eating we, left to go shopping and I noticed that I didn't have my purse that I had had while eating with me. I left it in the cafeteria! I freaked out and darted back to our table to see if it was still there. I was so relieved, because when I got back to the table, there was a man there with his girlfriend waiting for us to come back. They sat there and watched over my bag until they knew that the owner had come and gotten it! How nice is that?
It's really refreshing to know that there are people out there that are nice just to be nice. Experiencing these random acts of kindness remind us of the humanity of people, though the the world is cold and mean. I encourage all of you to just be decent people. Hold the door for people, let people in your lane when you're driving, say "Thank you" to the barista at Starbucks. These are little things, but they make a huge difference.

This Week In Fame!

Hello, friends! This week I got back in rehearsals for the show that I am currently in, Fame. I just wanted to update you on the progress of the musical and all that has gone down in Fame rehearsals this week.

Monday: On Monday, we worked on blocking the "There She Goes/Fame" cafeteria scene. We got the entire scene done and were able to run through it, which was great! I love this scene, because it's the big dance scene that the who is known for, and I get to strut on cafeteria tables ,which is awesome!

Tuesday: On Tuesday, we worked on choreography for "There She Goes/Fame". The rehearsal went so well and we got a ton done! The choreography wasn't too hard, but it will look amazing when it all comes together. There are so many talented people in the cast, and I'm sure it will turn out amazing. I have to get used to singing while dancing a full number, though!

Wednesday: Oh, God. This dreaded day. The stage kiss blocking day. The characters that were couples in the show got together with the director to work on blocking the stage kisses, which was super awkward and definitely interesting. It got done though!

Thursday: On Thursday, we blocked and ran two scenes. I didn't feel like I was completely myself this day and didn't put in the performance that I wanted to. But that's okay! It's fine to have an off day, I just need to make sure that I don't let it continue.

Alright guys! I hope you all are liking these updates on Fame. For me, it's a great way to document an amazing experience and share them with you guys! Let me know if you're liking them!

Positive Attitude!

Hello, friends! I'm sure you all have heard of the phrase "Negative Nellie". A "Negative Nellie" is someone who always finds the worst in things and anticipates negative outcomes. I find it really hard to be around people that are always down, because their attitude brings me down. I know that life happens and it can cause you to be bitter and sad, and that's okay. It's absolutely fine to have a sad moment, but don't let it control you.
I've been around people that just radiate negativity. They always expect the worst and have a hard time finding joy. Don't be that person! Life is a beautiful thing, despite the bad things that happen. It's important to have a positive mindset and work through a bad situation. Find the silver lining and use it to your advantage!
Try to make positivity your goal for this week. A lot of people are going back to school or work, which royally sucks. However, if you're one of those unfortunate people, try to go back with a positive mindset! What's the worst that can happen?
Have an amazing week! Also be sure to go check out my bestie's blog! Do you remember "Yours Truly" blog? Well this blog is by the same author, except it's new and improved! She's amazing, so give her some love!  Here's the link right here. Tell her I sent you and subscribe!

2015

Hello, friends! Welcome to 2015! There's something special about a new year. It's a new start. Everything that happened last year is old news, because this year is yours. I know a lot of you are working on your new year's resolutions and making promises to yourself of what you will do differently this year. I know I'm going to be making them! However, it's definitely difficult trying to keep new year's resolutions. I know that, for me, I'll start the year with all of these great goals for the year, but a lot of them aren't met.
Though it's definitely brave of you to make resolutions for the year ahead, are you really going to keep them? Life happens and it's really hard to go along with the expectations you've set for yourself. For me, I've found it easier to set daily goals for myself. Maybe one day, I'll try to be nicer to a certain person. Another day, maybe I'll try to talk less and listen more. Setting daily resolutions for myself make it a lot easier to better myself than having grand yearly goals. Overall, though, the purpose of resolutions are to better yourself. I think that can be done by being the best you can be and owning yourself and your life. Again, this is your year. Make it the best year you've had! Have an amazing 2015!

No Makeup!

Hello, friends! I would like to draw your attention to the image above. It's the beautiful Kim Kardashian, fresh faced! Still so gorgeous! Today I would like to talk to you beautiful people about no-makeup days. As you all know, I am no stranger to wearing makeup. There are several products that I use on my face everyday in order to better my appearance. However, over the past couple of days, I decided to take a break from wearing makeup. I wanted to give a chance for my skin to breathe rather than smothering it with foundation and powder. It's been very beneficial to my skin, as I've found that it's been less oily and more clear.
I know that it's weird to stop wearing makeup if you're used to wearing it everyday. Believe me, I know! However, it's really nice to be able to go about my day without worrying about how I look! I definitely recommend trying it! Just give your skin a break! You don't need to have a full face of makeup when you're going out for a little bit a day.
Anyways! You're beautiful! Let your natural beauty shine through!

Revlon BB Cream Review

Hello, friends! I know that the Revlon BB Cream is not a new product, however I am going to be reviewing it for you today! I have tried several BB creams and have yet to find one that I truly love. Let's see how this one works out!

Background Info
  • Price: $10.99
  • Claims: Hydrate like a moisturizer, smooth like a primer, cover like a foundation, blur flaws like a concealer, and protect skin with SPF 30
  • Shade range: Light, Light/Medium, and Medium
Packaging
  • I find the packaging to be easy and simple. I like it!
Application
  • The product is pretty thick for a BB cream, but that's fine! I just dotted this all over my skin and blended it out with a Real Techniques brush. I find that it blends well and melts into the skin. It gives decent coverage and adds a bit of glow to the complexion. I noticed that it takes a bit of time for it to set, though.
Lasting Power
  • I have to knock a couple points off for lasting power. My skin is really oily and I have trouble keeping face products on my skin. This lasts a few hours before starting to get oily.
Overall
  • I think this product is great for everyday use. It evens out the skin tone and gives okay coverage. My skin is oily, so it doesn't last long, however if I just need to have something on for a little while, this is great! If you have skin that is more on the dry side, this may work better for you. However, I do like this product and I recommend it. Not too shabby, Revlon, not too shabby.

Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara Review

Hello, friends! How are you? I hope you're having an amazing 2015 so far! Today, I am doing a review on the Covergirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara that arrived in the drugstore recently. Let's get into this!

Background: This mascara claims to make your lashes full and soft with its new "petal shaped brush".

Price: $6.99

Extra Info: I bought mine in the waterproof formula

Packaging: The packaging is bright and pink, which is really nice. The brush is medium sized and reminds me of the LashBlast wand.

Shade Range: As usual, there are 3 shades: black, very black, and black brown. Mine is in black.

Application: Upon the initial application of this product, I noticed that the brush is made of a very stiff plastic and actually hurts to apply. I keep scraping my lash line with the wand, which is really uncomfortable. The mascara makes my lashes full, but does nothing to lengthen them, which is important to me. I didn't notice any volume build up, so that was disappointing. After wearing this for a couple hours, I did notice that it didn't fade or smudge.

Final Thoughts: I don't really like this mascara. Though it makes my lashes look full, they aren't lengthened or volumized by this mascara. It also really hurts to apply, which is disappointing.

Rating: 3/5

I hope you enjoyed this review! Let me know if you found this to be helpful!

2014 Beauty Favorites

Hello, friends! Welcome to 2015! It's the new year, which means a fresh start! I have a ton of new posts for you guys to start off this year, but we are going to start with a yearly favorites for 2014. Alas! Here are my beauty favorites for 2014!

Skin Care

  • St. Ives Green Tea Scrub: This scrub has done absolute wonders for my skin! It's exfoliating without being overly abrasive and clears my breakouts. This has been an essential in my skin care routine.
  • Target Makeup Remover Wipes: These makeup wipes are from the Up&Up brand at Target and are the knockoff for the Simple Cleansing Wipes. These are super wet and take off all of my makeup without irritating my skin. They're my absolute favorite!
Body
  • Marc Jacobs Eu So Fresh: I've been using this fragrance throughout the entire year and it's a favorite of mine. I love the bottle and feel really fancy when I spray it on! It has a strong floral scent, yet it's light and "eu so fresh".
  • Aveeno Lotion: This lotion has been great for my dry skin this whole year. It's fool-proof: hydrating and not greasy on the skin.

Makeup
  • Covergirl 3 in 1 Foundation: This foundation is so great! It gives amazing coverage, while not being cake-y on the skin. It just leaves the skin looking smooth and basically flawless. I love it and it's perfect for my oily skin.
  • Benefit Coralista: I know you guys have heard a ton about this blush from me, but it's really my favorite. It's a really nice, shimmery coral color and leaves the cheeks with a gorgeous glow.
  • Loreal Butterfly Mascara: I must say that this is my all-time favorite mascara. I think it's better than my expensive mascaras! It gives my tiny eyelashes a ton of length and volume, while flaring my lashes out at the end. It's absolutely amazing.
  • Revealed Palette: I have gotten so much use out of this palette. It's by Coastal Scents is a dupe for both the Naked 1 and 2 Palettes, so it has a ton of neutral colors. This palette is great for everyday use and can be used to create a ton of looks. I also love how high quality the shadows are and only $20 for the whole thing!
  • NYX HD Eye Primer: This is an everyday essential for me. My eyelids are really oily and eyeshadows tend to crease on me within hours. However, when I use this primer, my eyeshadow stays on all day with no problems at all. I would say that this primer is a great dupe for the Urban Decay Primer Potion and I highly recommend it.
  • Milani Brow Kit: This is the perfect brow kit for everyday use. It comes with 2 brow shades, a highlight shade, tweezers, a sponge applicator, and an angled brush. I use this every single day and it has yet to fail me.
  • Rosebud Lip Salve: This product is perfect for my lips. It makes them really soft and supple, while smelling like a rose bush. What more could you need? It's a beauty staple.
  • Real Techniques Brushes: I discovered these brushes this year, and I'm obsessed. The brushes are of extremely high quality and work really well. I especially love the buffing brush that blends foundation like a dream.

Hair
  • Tresemee Heat Protectant: This heat protectant is a staple in my hair care routine. I don't use heat often, but when I do, this is great for protecting my hair from getting fried. I love how the spray nozzle works, because it sprays a fine, even mist all over the hair.

Nails

  • Sinful Colors Hazard: I love the Sinful Colors nail polishes! They're so cheap and work so well! I especially love this gorgeous coral color. It's great for the spring/summer time.
  • Sinful Colors Endless Blue: I woud have to say that this is my favorite nail polish of the year. It's such a beautiful blue color and I absolutely love it.
Alright guys! Thank you so much for your support on this blog! This has been an amazing year and I am so happy that I was able to share it with you guys! Have an amazing 2015.
